Environmental Sales Engineer

Job Description:
1. Generating project enquiry, by exploring the city.
2. Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
4. Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements.
5. Supervise and oversee the construction and installation of water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
6. Perform field inspections and assessments of existing water and wastewater infrastructure to identify maintenance and improvement needs.
7. Research and stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in water and wastewater engineering.
8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
9. Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
10. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring effective project delivery within established timelines and financial constraints.

Required Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatment methods.
2. Proficiency in MS Word.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering issues.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.

- Speaking ability in Kannada and English is mandatory. Telugu/ Tamil/ Hyderabadi is an added advantage (but not mandatory)  
6. Knowledge of environmental regulations and permit requirements in relation to water and wastewater treatment facilities.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in design calculations, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
8.  Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of water and wastewater engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree/diploma/Bsc in Environmental, or Chemical.
2. Minimum of years of experience 1-2 years. Freshers can apply.
3. Familiarity with environmental regulations and permit requirements related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, added advantage. Training shall be provided
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

6. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently to customer office / sites.

HVAC Service Sales Engineer

Job Overview:

An HVAC Service Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) service contracts, repairs, and maintenance solutions to new and existing clients. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge and sales acumen, as the engineer must understand the customer’s HVAC requirements and provide the right service solutions.

The role also involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, collaborating with service teams to meet customer needs, and achieving sales targets.


Job Description:

1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Promote and sell HVAC service contracts, maintenance agreements, repairs, retrofits, and equipment upgrades.
  • Identify and target potential customers in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
  • Conduct regular customer site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to generate leads and close deals.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotations to clients.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain and build strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and explain service agreements and solutions in a way that’s easy for clients to understand.

3. Technical Understanding:

  • Analyze HVAC systems and provide solutions to improve their efficiency and performance.
  • Conduct system surveys and diagnostics to identify service opportunities and offer recommendations.
  • Keep up to date with new HVAC technology, regulations, and industry best practices.

4. Coordination with Service Teams:

  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by managing service quality, response time, and communication.

5. Sales Planning and Reporting:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Track sales activity, customer interactions, and project progress using CRM software.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and reports to management on sales activities, potential deals, and market conditions.


Required Skills:

1. Sales Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Good presentation skills to explain service offerings and solutions effectively.

2.Technical Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and service requirements (chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, ductwork, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and interpret HVAC system designs, schematics, and equipment specifications.
  • Problem-solving skills to offer solutions that optimize system performance.

3.Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical clients in a simple, clear manner.

4.Time Management and Organization:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

1. Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. (A diploma in HVAC systems with relevant experience may also be considered.)
  • Additional certifications in HVAC, such as HVAC Course (Added advantage)

2.Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in HVAC sales, service, or a technical role within the HVAC industry. (Fresher Can apply)
  • Experience in selling service agreements, maintenance contracts, or aftermarket services is preferred.

3.Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using HVAC equipment knowledge.

4.Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
